Cutter suction dredger loosens the soil with the rotatable reamer at the suction mouth and it’s mainly used in excavation and filling of harbor basin. Some have small bucket wheels installed at the reamer for rotating dredging, thus called bucket wheel dredger. Cutter suction dredger is suitable for digging clay and sandy mud and it has a dredging depth of 4~30 meters and a production capability of 40~4000 cubic meters per hour.
