As the special equipment for offshore wind power development, offshore wind power installation vessel is the critical bottleneck that constrains the construction link of offshore wind power development. China’s first dedicated offshore wind power installation platform with independent intellectual property rights, “Huadian-1001” was developed by Shanghai Marine & Offshore Design Co., Ltd. of Chonghe Marine Industry. With a total length of 140 meters, a breadth of 39 meters, a working water depth of 3.3~25 meters, a maximum lifting weight of 700 tons and a maximum lifting height of 126 meters, “Huadian-1001” has a number of features including strong resistance to stormy waves, long operating window, excellent safety performance, high construction efficiency and so forth and its design and technology is in the leading position in China.
